Overview
Pugongying Capsules (also known as Dandelion Capsules) is an approved traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) product developed and manufactured by Chengdu Yongkon Pharmacy. The active ingredient is Pu Gong Ying (*Taraxacum* or dandelion, Taraxaci Herba), which is classified in TCM as a heat-clearing and toxin-resolving herb. Formulated as an oral capsule, it is used to treat upper respiratory tract infections, acute tonsillitis, boils (furuncles), and mastitis. Consistent with its nature as a traditional herbal medicine, no specific molecular biological target has been identified.
