Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Pumitamig plus elfetabart drozuntecan is an investigational, "novel-novel" combination of two biologics being developed by BioNTech in collaboration with Bristol Myers Squibb and Duality Biologics. Pumitamig (BNT327/BMS-986545/PM8002) is a bispecific antibody targeting programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1) and vascular endothelial growth factor A (VEGF-A). Elfetabart drozuntecan (BNT324/DB-1311) is an antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) targeting B7-H3 (CD276) conjugated to a topoisomerase I inhibitor payload (drozuntecan) via a cleavable linker. This combination is designed to simultaneously inhibit tumor angiogenesis, block immune checkpoint pathways, and deliver cytotoxic chemotherapy directly to B7-H3-expressing cancer cells. The combination is currently being evaluated in Phase 1b/2 clinical trials for the treatment of advanced or metastatic small cell lung cancer (SCLC), non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), and other advanced solid tumors.
