Pumpkin seed extract cream is an investigational topical formulation developed by Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) for the treatment of moderate to severe palmar arsenical keratosis. Arsenicosis, resulting from long-term exposure to arsenic-contaminated water, is a major health crisis in Bangladesh, leading to painful and debilitating keratotic nodules on the palms and soles that can progress to Bowen's disease or squamous cell carcinoma. The cream utilizes the antioxidant and potential anticancer properties of pumpkin seed (*Cucurbita pepo*) extract to reduce the size of these keratotic lesions. It is formulated with a base of white wax, white petrolatum, and stearyl alcohol for topical application.
