Overview

pUMVC3-IGFBP2-HER2-IGF1R plasmid DNA vaccine is an investigational therapeutic cancer vaccine composed of a recombinant plasmid DNA vector (pUMVC3) encoding epitopes from three tumor-associated antigens: insulin-like growth factor binding protein 2 (IGFBP2), human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2), and insulin-like growth factor 1 receptor (IGF1R). Upon intradermal administration, the plasmid transfects local keratinocytes, leading to the expression of these tumor antigen epitopes. This process stimulates an immune response against cells expressing IGFBP2, HER2, and IGF1R, potentially resulting in anti-tumor activity. The primary indication under investigation is ovarian cancer[9][1][8].
