puquitinib

Puquitinib (also known as puquitinib mesylate) is a small molecule multi-target tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) developed by Zhejiang Medicine. It is designed to inhibit several key pathways involved in tumor angiogenesis and proliferation, specifically targeting the vascular endothelial growth factor receptors (VEGFR-1, -2, and -3), platelet-derived growth factor receptors (PDGFR-α and -β), and the stem cell factor receptor (c-Kit). By blocking these kinases, puquitinib disrupts the signaling cascades necessary for the formation of new blood vessels and the direct growth of cancer cells. The drug is primarily being developed for the treatment of advanced solid tumors and has progressed into Phase 1/2 clinical development in China, where it has been recognized as a National Major Scientific and Technological Project.
