Drug intelligence / Profile preview
PURamnio is an amniotic-derived orthobiologic product developed by PUR Biologics, a subsidiary of HippoFi. Launched for commercial distribution in early 2024, it is designed for use in regenerative medicine applications, particularly within orthopedic and spinal surgery. The product leverages the biological properties of amniotic tissue, which contains a high concentration of regenerative components such as growth factors, cytokines, and extracellular matrix proteins. These components work synergistically to promote tissue repair, reduce inflammation, and provide a biological scaffold for healing. It is typically utilized as an allograft in surgical settings to enhance recovery and improve clinical outcomes in musculoskeletal conditions. It is distinct from the infant formula product PurAmino.
