Drug intelligence / Profile preview
PuraPly MZ is a micronized, purified native collagen matrix derived from porcine skin, designed for the management of acute and chronic wounds. Developed by Organogenesis, it utilizes a proprietary technology to maintain the natural three-dimensional extracellular matrix (ECM) structure while providing the flexibility of a micronized (powdered) format. This allows the product to conform to irregular wound shapes, deep tunnels, and undermined areas that are difficult to treat with traditional sheet grafts. PuraPly MZ serves as a scaffold for cellular migration and tissue remodeling, supporting the body's natural healing process in various surgical and sports medicine applications. It is typically used in the management of pressure ulcers, venous ulcers, diabetic ulcers, and surgical wounds.
