Purcision is a proprietary nanoparticle formulation technology developed by CritiTech, Inc., and utilized by NanOlogy to produce pure, surfactant-free drug particles for the treatment of solid tumors. The technology employs supercritical fluid precipitation to create stable nanoparticles of poorly soluble small molecules, most notably taxanes such as paclitaxel (NanoPac) and docetaxel (NanoDoce). These formulations are designed for localized delivery—including intratumoral, intraperitoneal, and intralesional administration—to achieve high therapeutic concentrations at the site of the malignancy while minimizing systemic toxicity. Clinical applications of Purcision-formulated drugs include the treatment of prostate, pancreatic, ovarian, and bladder cancers, where they function by stabilizing microtubules and inducing cell cycle arrest.
