Drug intelligence / Profile preview
PUREACE-TC is a fixed-dose combination analgesic and anti-inflammatory medication developed by Varmed Pharma. It contains aceclofenac, paracetamol, and the proteolytic enzymes trypsin and chymotrypsin. Aceclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that inhibits prostaglandin synthesis by targeting cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes. Paracetamol acts primarily through central analgesic pathways to provide pain relief and antipyretic effects. Trypsin and chymotrypsin are proteolytic enzymes that facilitate the resolution of inflammation and edema by breaking down fibrin clots and necrotic tissue. This combination is indicated for the management of pain and inflammation associated with musculoskeletal disorders, post-operative recovery, and sports injuries.
