PURETHAL Grasses is an allergoid extract developed by HAL Allergy Holding BV for subcutaneous allergen-specific immunotherapy (SCIT). It is composed of a glutaraldehyde-modified extract from 10 different grass pollens. The drug is indicated for the treatment of allergic rhinoconjunctivitis, allergic rhinitis, and hypersensitivity caused by grass pollen allergy. It works by desensitizing the immune system to these specific allergens.
