Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Purified exosome product (PEP) is a biological therapeutic consisting of nano-sized extracellular vesicles derived primarily from blood products. These spherical or spheroid exosomes typically have diameters no greater than 250-300nm and can be freeze-dried into a powder that remains stable at room temperature for up to a year. PEP contains exosomes that express markers such as CD63 and AChE, and can be used for drug delivery and tissue regeneration applications. The product has shown promise in preclinical studies for wound healing, tendon regeneration, and potential neurological applications.
