Purified exosome product (PEP) is a biological therapeutic consisting of nano-sized extracellular vesicles derived primarily from blood products. These spherical or spheroid exosomes typically have diameters no greater than 250-300nm and can be freeze-dried into a powder that remains stable at room temperature for up to a year. PEP contains exosomes that express markers such as CD63 and AChE, and can be used for drug delivery and tissue regeneration applications.
