The gel works by reducing skin inflammation through the inhibition of pro-inflammatory cytokines and the suppression of the NF-κB signaling pathway. Additionally, it exhibits antimicrobial activity against common skin pathogens associated with acne, such as *Cutibacterium acnes*.
