Overview
Pushengkang (also known as Picika) is an oral solution formulation containing triterpenoid saponins, specifically CKL-A03, as its active component. Developed by Beijing Deyitang Health Technology and CK Biotech Laboratory (Changjiang Biochemical Technology Research Institute), Pushengkang is being investigated for the treatment of HIV infection (Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome). The drug has undergone Phase I clinical trials in China to evaluate its safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetics in healthy adult volunteers, including studies assessing the impact of food intake on its absorption.
