Overview

PV-3212 is a novel, second-generation small molecule inhibitor developed by Provid Pharmaceuticals for the treatment of multiple sclerosis (MS). It specifically targets the MHC class II allele HLA-DRB1*15:01 (DR15), which is the primary genetic risk factor for MS. By inhibiting the presentation of autoantigens by DR15, PV-3212 aims to modulate the autoimmune response characteristic of the disease. The compound is designed for high metabolic stability and is currently in the IND-enabling stage of development.
