**PVP-TZ-POR 7f** is an experimental polyvinylpyrrolidone micellar formulation of TZ-POR 7f, a beta-substituted triazole-tetraphenylporphyrin photosensitizer bearing a nitrophenyl-substituted triazole group. It was developed as a prototype photodynamic therapy agent for bladder cancer. Following uptake by cells and irradiation with visible white light, the porphyrin photosensitizer generates singlet oxygen and other reactive oxygen species that cause light-dependent cytotoxicity. In vitro, the formulation reduced viability of HT-1376 human bladder cancer cells after photoactivation while showing no significant phototoxic effect in ARPE-19 control retinal pigment epithelial cells under the tested conditions. It remains a preclinical research-stage formulation with no reported clinical development or marketed use.
