PVR-MMAE

PVR-MMAE is an investigational antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) composed of a monoclonal antibody targeting the poliovirus receptor (PVR, also known as CD155) conjugated to the cytotoxic payload monomethyl auristatin E (MMAE). The ADC is designed to selectively deliver MMAE to tumor cells expressing PVR, where internalization and lysosomal cleavage release MMAE intracellularly. MMAE then inhibits cell division by blocking tubulin polymerization, leading to cell cycle arrest and apoptosis. This targeted approach aims to maximize antitumor efficacy while minimizing systemic toxicity. The drug is under development for oncology indications.
