Overview

PVS-10200 is an allogeneic endothelial cell-based therapy developed for the prevention of restenosis in patients with peripheral artery disease (PAD) undergoing percutaneous transluminal angioplasty and stent placement. The therapy consists of allogeneic endothelial cells designed to restore vascular homeostasis and inhibit the inflammatory and proliferative processes that lead to vessel re-narrowing after intervention. Originally developed by Pervasis Therapeutics, the program was acquired by Shire and later transitioned to Takeda. It was evaluated in the Phase 1/2 TRIUMPH study, where it was delivered as a single injection following minimally invasive peripheral revascularization.
