PVT501 is a preclinical-stage peptide-MHC (pMHC) nanoparticle therapeutic developed by Parvus Therapeutics for the treatment of multiple sclerosis (MS). Utilizing the proprietary Navacim platform, PVT501 consists of disease-specific pMHC complexes conjugated to a nanoparticle core. The drug is designed to engage autoreactive T-cell receptors (TCRs) in an antigen-specific manner, triggering the expansion of regulatory T cells (Tregs) that suppress the autoimmune response associated with MS. This approach aims to restore immune tolerance without the broad immunosuppression typical of current MS treatments.
