PX130

PX130 is a bispecific antibody in preclinical development for the treatment of moderate to severe atopic dermatitis. It targets and inhibits both interleukin-13 (IL-13) and interleukin-22 (IL-22), two cytokines implicated in the pathogenesis of atopic dermatitis. By inhibiting IL-13, PX130 reduces Th2-mediated skin inflammation, while inhibition of IL-22 helps restore the skin barrier and prevents inflammation from environmental triggers such as allergens. The drug was initially developed by Proteologix and is now part of Johnson & Johnson’s pipeline following their acquisition of Proteologix in 2024. PX130 is designed for infrequent dosing intervals to improve patient convenience[1][3][5][6][8][9].
