Overview
PXLR is a humanized monoclonal antibody developed by Chiome Bioscience that targets and neutralizes multiple chemokines, specifically CXCL1, CXCL2, CXCL3, and CXCL5. These chemokines are key mediators of tumor-promoting inflammation and are involved in the recruitment of cells that support tumor growth, angiogenesis, and metastasis within the tumor microenvironment. By inhibiting these ligands, PXLR aims to disrupt the inflammatory signaling that facilitates cancer progression and immune evasion. The drug is currently in development for the treatment of various solid tumors, with a focus on gastric cancer, breast cancer, and ovarian cancer.
