Pyrazole ray sodium (also referred to as pyrazolei sodium or W-010) is a novel small molecule P2Y12 receptor antagonist developed by Hunan Warrant Pharmaceutical. It is designed as an antiplatelet agent for the treatment and prevention of thrombotic events in patients with cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases. The drug functions by selectively inhibiting the P2Y12 receptor on the surface of platelets, which prevents adenosine diphosphate (ADP)-induced activation of the GPIIb/IIIa receptor complex and subsequent platelet aggregation. Pyrazole ray sodium is being developed as an injectable formulation, potentially offering rapid antiplatelet effects suitable for acute clinical settings. It has been evaluated in Phase 1 clinical trials in China to assess its safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacodynamics in healthy volunteers.
