Pyrrobutamine is a first-generation H1-antihistamine and anticholinergic agent belonging to the stilbene class of organic compounds[1][4][7]. It acts primarily by blocking histamine H1 receptors, thereby preventing histamine from binding and reducing symptoms associated with allergic reactions such as itching, swelling, redness, rhinitis, conjunctivitis, and urticaria[1][6][8].
