Overview

PYX-106 is a fully human monoclonal antibody immunotherapy designed to block the activity of Siglec-15 (sialic acid-binding immunoglobulin-like lectin 15), an immune suppressor broadly expressed across various tumor types and on macrophages. By inhibiting Siglec-15, PYX-106 acts as an immune checkpoint inhibitor with potential antineoplastic and immunomodulatory activities. It is being developed for the treatment of advanced solid tumors, particularly in patients who are non-responsive to PD-1/PD-L1 targeted therapies. Preclinical studies have shown that PYX-106 has strong binding affinity to human Siglec-15, robust T cell activation potency, and may offer more flexible dosing regimens due to its pharmacokinetic profile[1][2][3][5][6][8].
