Drug intelligence / Profile preview
PZ04 is an autologous CAR-T cell therapy engineered to target CD19 and express a PD-1 blocking antibody (Ab21). Developed by the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) General Hospital, it is intended for the treatment of CD19-positive hematological malignancies, such as B-cell lymphomas and leukemias. By combining CAR-mediated targeting of CD19 with the secretion or expression of a PD-1 antibody, PZ04 aims to overcome the immunosuppressive effects of the PD-1/PD-L1 pathway, potentially improving the persistence and anti-tumor efficacy of the T cells within the tumor microenvironment.
