Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Q-Mix is a multi-ingredient dietary supplement and nutraceutical formulation composed of flavonoids, omega-3 fatty acids, and vitamins. Specifically, it contains quercetin, isoquercetin, epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) from green tea extract, eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA), docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), ascorbic acid (vitamin C), niacinamide, and folic acid. Developed to address the chronic inflammation and oxidative stress associated with obesity, Q-Mix has been shown in clinical trials to significantly increase plasma levels of its constituent nutrients and modulate gene expression. Its mechanism involves the upregulation of interferon-induced antiviral pathways and the inhibition of phagocytosis-related inflammatory signaling in whole blood, suggesting a role in immune modulation and systemic anti-inflammatory response.
