Q003 is a non-steroidal topical small molecule inhibitor of galectin-3 being developed by Quodria Ltd for the treatment of psoriasis. Galectin-3 is a protein known to have pro-inflammatory and pro-fibrotic effects, and its inhibition is intended to manage the inflammatory processes underlying psoriasis. The drug is designed for use as a standalone therapy or in combination with other psoriasis treatments. Q003 utilizes the same galectin-3 targeting mechanism established in Quodria's Q001 program for atopic dermatitis.
