QH101 is an allogeneic, T-cell receptor (TCR)-enhanced Vδ2 T cell therapy engineered to express binding elements specific to Butyrophilin (BTN) proteins. Developed by Qi-He Biotech, this cell therapy product utilizes the natural cytotoxic properties of γδ T cells while improving tumor recognition and elimination. Uniquely, QH101 is constructed without standard co-stimulatory signal domains or the CD3ζ domain, a design intended to prevent overactivation-induced exhaustion and enhance the longevity and persistence of the cells in vivo. It is primarily under investigation for the treatment of patients with relapsed or refractory (R/R) acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS), conditions which often lack specific molecular targets and have poor clinical prognoses.
