QHL-1231 is a preclinical-stage small molecule drug conjugate (SMDC) developed by Affinity Biopharmaceutical for the treatment of solid tumors. As part of the company's 'Precision Guided Target Therapy' platform, QHL-1231 is designed to simultaneously target three key pathways involved in oncogenesis, epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT), and angiogenesis: AXL receptor tyrosine kinase, Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor (VEGF), and c-Met (Hepatocyte Growth Factor Receptor). The SMDC approach utilizes a small molecule ligand to deliver a cytotoxic payload specifically to tumor cells expressing these targets, aiming to enhance therapeutic efficacy and reduce the systemic toxicity typically associated with conventional chemotherapy.
