Drug intelligence / Profile preview
QHL-506 is a small molecule drug conjugate (SMDC) being developed by Affinity Biopharmaceutical for the treatment of solid tumors. Part of the company's "Precision Guided Target Therapy" platform, QHL-506 is designed to deliver a PARP inhibitor (PARPi) payload directly to tumor cells. By conjugating the inhibitor to a targeting moiety, the therapy aims to achieve high local concentrations of the drug within the tumor microenvironment while reducing systemic exposure and associated toxicities. The mechanism of action involves the inhibition of Poly [ADP-ribose] polymerase (PARP), an enzyme critical for DNA repair, thereby inducing synthetic lethality in cancer cells. QHL-506 is currently in the IND-enabling/preclinical stage of development.
