Overview
Qi Bao Mei Ran is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formula, also known as the Seven-Treasure Hair-Beautifying Pill, traditionally used to treat liver and kidney deficiency, premature graying of hair, and alopecia. The formula consists of seven botanical ingredients: *Polygonum multiflorum*, *Angelica sinensis*, *Lycium barbarum*, *Poria cocos*, *Achyranthes bidentata*, *Cuscuta chinensis*, and *Psoralea corylifolia*. In recent years, it has been investigated for its potential neuroprotective properties. Specifically, Qi Bao Mei Ran Oral Liquid has been evaluated in clinical trials for its ability to improve cognitive function and influence neuroimaging markers in patients with Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI). The mechanism is thought to involve the synergistic effects of its herbal components on oxidative stress and neuroinflammation.
