Overview
Qi-Zhi-Tong-Luo Capsule (also known as Qizhitongluo Capsule) is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) formulation developed by the Institute of Basic Research in Clinical Medicine, China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, and Shanxi Zhendong Pharmaceutical. It is formulated to promote blood circulation, resolve phlegm, and address Qi deficiency and blood stasis/phlegm obstruction. The capsule is approved in China for the auxiliary treatment of stroke recovery-stage sequelae, including hemiplegia, limb numbness, facial paralysis, language difficulties, and fatigue. It is also under clinical evaluation for the treatment of vascular cognitive impairment.
