Overview
Qiangqin is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formulation developed by Jiangsu Kanion Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., primarily indicated for the treatment of influenza and upper respiratory tract infections characterized by wind-heat symptoms. The formulation is a multi-herb granule that typically includes extracts from *Scutellaria baicalensis* (Baical Skullcap) and *Notopterygium incisum* (Qianghuo). It functions through a combination of antiviral, antipyretic, and anti-inflammatory activities. Qiangqin is used to alleviate symptoms such as fever, headache, sore throat, and cough by inhibiting viral replication and modulating the host's inflammatory response.
