Qianjin Baoyun Pills is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formulation primarily used for the treatment of recurrent miscarriage associated with autoimmune thyroid disease (AITD). The medication is specifically indicated for patients who meet the TCM diagnostic criteria for qi and blood deficiency. It is currently being evaluated in Phase 4 clinical trials as an adjunctive therapy to standard levothyroxine (LT4) treatment. The goal of this combination therapy is to reduce the incidence of spontaneous abortion and improve pregnancy outcomes by modulating thyroid-related immunological abnormalities and supporting maternal health through TCM principles. The development and clinical evaluation of this formulation are led by The Third Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University.
