Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Qianjin Fumai is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) granule formulation developed by Guang'anmen Hospital of the China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences. It is based on the compatibility principles for treating palpitations found in the classic medical texts *Beiji Qianjin Yaofang* and *Qianjin Yifang* by Sun Simiao. The formulation is primarily investigated for the treatment of ventricular premature complexes (VPC), with clinical research focusing on its ability to reduce the frequency of premature beats and improve electrocardiographic markers such as the Tpeak-end interval. Additionally, the drug is evaluated for its impact on psychological symptoms, such as depression, which often accompany chronic cardiac conditions.
