Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Qianlietongshuang is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) suppository developed and manufactured by Chengdu Hekang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. It is specifically indicated for the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and chronic prostatitis. The formulation consists of several herbal ingredients, including *Phellodendron amurense*, *Paeonia lactiflora*, *Alisma plantago-aquatica*, *Poria cocos*, *Vaccaria segetalis*, and *Rheum officinale*. These components work synergistically to provide anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and anti-proliferative effects, helping to reduce prostate volume and alleviate lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) such as urinary frequency, urgency, and painful urination. The drug is administered rectally, allowing for localized delivery and absorption near the prostate gland.
