Overview
Qiaoruisu capsule is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) product developed and manufactured by Hubei Furen Pharmaceutical. It is primarily indicated for the treatment of respiratory conditions including cough, wheezing, and acute exacerbations of chronic bronchitis, particularly when presenting as "phlegm-heat" syndrome in TCM theory. The formulation is a complex mixture of botanical extracts, including Forsythia, Schizonepeta, Patchouli, and Scutellaria, which collectively work to clear heat, detoxify the lungs, resolve phlegm, and alleviate respiratory distress. As of 2025, the drug is undergoing Phase IV post-marketing safety surveillance in China (CTR20250703) to further characterize its safety profile in the adult population.
