Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Qidongyixin oral liquid is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) herbal formulation developed for the treatment of heart qi deficiency syndrome, particularly in the context of chemotherapy-induced cardiotoxicity in cancer patients. The preparation is designed to tonify Qi and nourish Yin, addressing symptoms such as palpitations, shortness of breath (dyspnea), fatigue, spontaneous sweating, and insomnia. In clinical practice and research, it is often compared to other classic TCM formulas like Shengmai Decoction to evaluate its efficacy in improving cardiac function and safety profiles during oncological treatments. It was developed by Dongzhimen Hospital Affiliated to Beijing University of Chinese Medicine.
