Qihuang Yishen is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) granule formulation developed by Wangjing Hospital of the China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences for the treatment of diabetic kidney disease (DKD). The formulation is designed to tonify Qi, nourish the kidneys, and address pathological factors such as damp-heat and blood stasis. Its name is derived from its key herbal components, typically including *Astragalus membranaceus* (Huangqi) and *Rheum palmatum* (Dahuang). Qihuang Yishen is used to reduce proteinuria, stabilize renal function, and provide cardiovascular protection.
