Overview
Qihuang Yishen Granules (QHYS) is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) herbal compound used primarily for the treatment of diabetic kidney disease (DKD) and chronic kidney disease. The formulation consists of multiple herbal ingredients designed to improve renal function, reduce proteinuria, and modulate metabolic parameters. Mechanistically, studies suggest that QHYS may exert its effects by modulating the expression of long non-coding RNAs involved in renal pathology and alleviating tubular epithelial cell injury associated with DKD[1][2][4].
