Overview
Qijiao Shengbai Capsule is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formulation primarily used for the treatment of leukopenia and anemia, particularly those resulting from chemotherapy or radiotherapy in cancer patients. The capsule is composed of several herbal ingredients, most notably *Astragalus membranaceus* (Huangqi) and *Colla Corii Asini* (Ejiao), which are traditionally recognized for their ability to tonify Qi and nourish blood. By stimulating the hematopoietic system, the drug helps to increase white blood cell counts and hemoglobin levels, thereby improving the patient's tolerance to intensive oncological treatments. It is widely utilized in China as a supportive therapy for malignant neoplastic diseases to manage treatment-related myelosuppression. Recent real-world studies, such as those conducted at Huzhou Central Hospital, have evaluated its effectiveness in managing tumor-associated anemia.
