Overview
Qiju Dihuang Capsule is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formulation manufactured by Chongqing Sainuo Biological Pharmaceutical. It is an extension of the classic Liuwei Dihuang formula, enriched with Lycium chinense (Goji berry) and Chrysanthemum morifolium to specifically target ocular symptoms. The drug is primarily indicated for the treatment of liver and kidney yin deficiency, which manifests as dizziness, tinnitus, blurred vision, photophobia, and dry eyes. Its mechanism of action involves nourishing the Yin of the liver and kidney, thereby restoring systemic balance and improving visual acuity according to TCM principles. It is an approved pharmaceutical product in China, typically administered orally in capsule form.
