Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Qiju Dihuang Tablets (杞菊地黄片) is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) formulation manufactured by Hebei Wanbang Fu Lin Pharmaceutical. It is an oral tablet based on the classic Qiju Dihuang formula, which is an enhancement of the Liuwei Dihuang base with the addition of Lycium fruit (Gouqizi) and Chrysanthemum flower (Juhua). The formulation is traditionally indicated as a liver and kidney tonic, specifically for treating Yin deficiency of the liver and kidney. It is used to alleviate symptoms such as dizziness, tinnitus, photophobia, blurred vision, and tearing when exposed to wind. As a TCM product, it operates through a multi-component and multi-target mechanism involving various phytochemicals from its constituent herbs, rather than a single defined biological target.
