Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Qimei granule is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) hospital preparation developed by Shanghai Changhai Hospital for the treatment of chronic pancreatitis. The formulation is based on the TCM principle of treating "Jue Yin" patterns, which are associated with the complex symptoms of chronic pancreatitis, including persistent abdominal pain and pancreatic dysfunction. It is currently being evaluated in clinical trials, such as a Phase 1 randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study (ChiCTR2300072506), to assess its safety and therapeutic efficacy in managing pain and improving the quality of life for patients with chronic pancreatitis.
