Overview
Qing Bai Jie Shen Xi Ye (also known under the brand name Qian Bai An) is an approved traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) topical wash/lotion developed and manufactured by Sinopharm Group Zhijun. It is formulated from a mixture of eleven herbal extracts, including *Radix Sophorae Flavescentis* (苦参), *Rhizoma Coptidis* (黄连), *Cortex Phellodendri* (黄柏), *Pericarpium Zanthoxyli* (花椒), *Fructus Cnidii* (蛇床子), *Radix Astragali* (黄芪), *Radix Polygoni Multiflori* (何首乌), *Fructus Kochiae* (地肤子), *Folium Isatidis* (大青叶), *Radix Paeoniae Rubra* (赤芍), and *Radix Angelicae Sinensis* (当归). The formulation is indicated for clearing heat, resolving dampness, detoxicating, and relieving itching. It is primarily used to treat gynecological and dermatological conditions such as pruritus vulvae (vulvar itching), vulvitis, bacterial vaginosis, trichomoniasis, and vulvovaginal candidiasis (yeast infections), as well as eczema.
