Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Qing Jin Yi Qi granule is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formulation developed for the treatment of patients in the convalescent stage of COVID-19 (novel coronavirus pneumonia). Developed by Shijiazhuang People's Hospital, the granule is intended to address lingering respiratory symptoms such as cough and dyspnea, as well as systemic fatigue. In clinical studies, it is evaluated as an adjunct to integrated traditional Chinese and Western rehabilitation. The formulation's therapeutic goals include improving lung function, enhancing exercise capacity (measured by the 6-minute walk distance), and modulating immune and inflammatory markers to facilitate recovery.
