Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Qing Re He Ji is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) herbal formulation widely used for the treatment of acute upper respiratory tract infections (AURI). It is designed to "clear heat," eliminate pathogenic factors, and strengthen healthy qi according to TCM theory. Clinical applications have demonstrated its effectiveness in alleviating symptoms such as fever, sore throat, cough, and other manifestations associated with AURI. The formula typically contains a combination of herbs with anti-inflammatory and antiviral properties that act synergistically to reduce inflammation and support immune function[4]. Its mechanism of action involves modulation of inflammatory pathways; however, specific molecular targets are not well characterized in Western pharmacological terms.
