Qing Yi Dao Xie Tang (also known as Qingyi Daoxie decoction) is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) herbal formula developed by Changsha Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine (Changsha Eighth Hospital) for the treatment of acute pancreatitis, particularly mild acute pancreatitis classified as Fu Shi Re Jie syndrome. The decoction is administered orally and is designed to clear heat, promote bowel movements (purge/drain), and relieve abdominal distension and pain. It is often evaluated in combination with topical therapies such as Huang Xiao Plaster.
