Qingbu Weijing Decoction is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) herbal formulation developed by Xiyuan Hospital of China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences. It is primarily investigated for the treatment of stable bronchiectasis, specifically targeting mucus hypersecretion and the reduction of acute exacerbations. As a decoction, it consists of a complex mixture of botanical extracts intended to modulate airway inflammation and improve respiratory function. It is currently being evaluated in multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trials in China to assess its efficacy and underlying mechanisms in improving patient outcomes.
