Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Qingchang Wenzhong tablets is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) candidate developed by Yangzijiang Pharmaceutical Group (specifically its subsidiary Jiangsu Longfengtang Traditional Chinese Medicine) for the treatment of moderately active ulcerative colitis (UC). The formulation is designed to treat UC patients presenting with TCM syndromes of mixed cold-heat and damp-heat with blood stasis obstruction. It is currently in Phase II clinical development in China, where it is being evaluated in a randomized, double-blind, dose-finding trial to assess its efficacy in achieving clinical remission and mucosal healing compared to standard active controls.
