Overview
Qingdu Fang is a traditional Chinese herbal formula used primarily for the treatment of high-risk human papillomavirus (HR-HPV) infections. It consists of multiple herbal components, with at least 27 compounds identified through UPLC-QTOF-MS analysis. The formula exhibits multi-targeted pharmacological effects, including anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and pro-apoptotic activities. Mechanistically, Qingdu Fang acts by inhibiting the PI3K/AKT signaling pathway, leading to cell cycle arrest and induction of apoptosis in HR-HPV-infected cells. Network pharmacology studies have identified key molecular targets such as TP53, JUN, AKT1, STAT3, TNF, and IL6 that are modulated by this formula. Notably, quercetin is one of its active ingredients with broad polypharmacological properties[1][3][4].
